What I'm Learning
AI is moving faster than most institutions can track. These are the resources shaping how I think about it.
Coursera Specialisation
Responsible Generative AI
Merve Hickok · University of Michigan
Most conversations about AI focus on capability — what it can do. This specialisation asks the harder questions: who's accountable when things go wrong, what governance frameworks are taking shape, and how organisations should approach GenAI deployment responsibly. As someone navigating AI adoption inside a large institution, the governance and policy track is directly relevant to decisions I'm already making.

Anthropic — Labor Market Impacts of AI
March 2026
Read this to get past the fear-mongering and into actual data. Anthropic's “observed exposure” metric is the right lens — it tracks what people genuinely use AI for at work, not theoretical capability. The headline finding (no mass unemployment wave yet) was expected. What mattered more: the most AI-exposed workers are also the most educated and highest-paid. AI amplifies expertise. It doesn't replace it. That's the pattern worth tracking — and the bet I'm making on my own career.

Built with AI
This portfolio was built entirely with Claude Code — without a single line of code written by me from scratch. I came in as a communicator, not a developer: no JavaScript, no React, no idea what a “component” was when I started. What I brought was clarity about what I wanted to say and the judgment to direct, review, and push back. Claude handled the rest.
That’s not a disclaimer — it’s the point. Claude wrote the code. I wrote everything else: the strategy, the stories, the judgment calls. The ability to build real software by communicating clearly with AI is itself a skill. This site is the proof.
A UN colleague introduced me to the BMAD Method before I wrote a single prompt. That conversation changed how I thought about what was possible.
